Timothy J. Gianotti serves both York University and the Noor Cultural Centre as the 2008-2011 York-Noor Fellow in Arabic & Islamic Studies in Toronto, where he also served as the 2007-2008 Noor Chair of Islamic Studies at York University. He is the author of Al-Ghazali's Unspeakable Doctrine of the Soul (2001).
