His escape makes the club owner look like a fool, and not willing to admit defeat, he goes after Barton with all he's got. Barton refuses to become a fugitive from the mob. From his military days, he knows that offense is the best method of defense. He won't go down without a fight. His actions attract the attention of an opposing mob. Like the dirty club owner, they are also involved in smuggling and drugs.
