He fixed his eyes on hers, letting her see the golden irises and his slit pupils, which were wide with arousal. Matilda's stare intensified, and the rest of her body language slackened, bit by bit. She lost the tension in her shoulders and hands. Her feet shifted, almost imperceptibly, till her stance was open and inviting. Her head tilted up towards him invitingly. He kept speaking to her, repeating words of assurance in a calm, deep tone that he knew had a resonant effect on mortals. It was no time at all before Matilda, having welcomed a pretend hypnosis, was now truly under his control.

"Come here," he said, his first command. She walked towards him compliantly and bent her head, as if in expectation of his next move. The blindfold went over her head easily and he fixed it firmly over her eyes. Bondage had indeed been the first thing on Matilda's mind when she went to Hell's Gate looking for a sex club; now she was tied at the wrists and blind, subject to his whim.
