Produktbeschreibung
Philosophy is an endless sea. To know it, you need knowledge of what the ancients said, and what the modernists mentioned, which is something that can only be covered by texts and lengthy texts. The purpose of this book, as the author says, is not to provide a comprehensive overview of everything that is said in philosophy, ancient and modern. Rather, he adds chapters to what is present in the Arabic language that no one else has paid attention to, so that they shed light on some unknown aspects, or provide people with more clarification about them. Some of these chapters express the author's own opinion, and are the result of long, continuous research. You may disagree with him in some of the opinions he concluded, especially those that were innovative, but he should not be afraid of disagreement in point of view, because your independence of opinion is evidence of deep consideration. It is difficult to agree on a single opinion in philosophy, and this history reveals extreme discrepancy that may go to the point of contradiction. The dispute between Plato and Aristotle is too famous to be mentioned, to the point that Al-Farabi needed to write a book to combine the opinions of the two wise men and reconcile them.
