PRANJAL SHARMA is an economic analyst, advisor and columnist who focuses on technology, globalization and media. He has written and edited books and papers on entrepreneurship, business transformation and economic policy.

His previous book, Kranti Nation: India and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, was the first to chronicle the role of emerging technologies in triggering transformative changes in India's industries.

Pranjal has also served as a member of the Global Agenda Council at the World Economic Forum for eight years and is now a member of its Expert Network. In a career spanning thirty years, he has held leadership positions in the media industry with organizations like the Business Standard, the Times of India group, the India Today group, CNBC TV18 and Bloomberg UTV.
