It was the year 2000 when the little indigo/rainbow child was born. Her name was Rhiannon. She was a child who had special powers. Did she come from the stars or a planet somewhere in the universe to be born to save the planet? Every time a rainbow appeared, Rhiannon got another crystal to add to her collection. Where did they come from? No one knew. They just appeared every time there was a rainbow. Whenever a rainbow appeared, Rhiannon would go into the garden and sing a song. Where did they come from? No one knew. They just appeared every time there was a rainbow. Whenever a rainbow appeared, Rhiannon would go into the garden and sing a song. Every time, the song was never the same. The birds would all cheep and cheep along, and the sound they all made with Rhiannon would captivate anyone who cared to listen. It seemed to brighten up their lives if they were feeling down. Her mother tried taping it, but for some reason, it did not work. One special day before Christmas, they went shopping for the ingredients to make a Christmas cake. What was the surprise that happened when they got home? Well, Im afraid you will have to read the book to find out.

I was born in a little village called Prestolee. At the age of three, I made such a fuss of wanting to go to school with my older sister that they actually let me go. My parents were both cotton workers in the local cotton mill called Irwell Bank due to it being in the vicinity of the River Irwell. The village has a church called Holy Trinity, where I would go each Sunday along with Sunday school. We did go at various times to church from the school too. My school was called the do-as-you-like school because our headmaster was a man with a vision to teach children by giving them some fun in their lives. I have had numerous jobs in my life, from being in a typing pool to working as secretary to the chief aircraft engineer and his deputy in Llanbedr Aerodrome then to the pottery in Penrhynduedraeth until that closed. My next job was working in a bakery. The Tudors were a lovely family, and I enjoyed working for them until I had to retire because I got the dratted ME. I was bedridden for a while and could hardly walk six steps each day and, with help, until I walked a little further. Now on good days I can walk miles, but I don't, or I would be back in bed, so I pace myself and get on quite well. I did a course at Bangor University for poetry and writing, although I did not get a certificate. I have my certificate for Reiki 1 and various ones through doing live-in care for the elderly and the sick. I have quite a few pastimes. I write poetry and books and make double-sided flower baskets-you turn the basket around, and you have another display without having to buy another basket. I make cards, paint in oils and acrylics, and do fabric painting. I also do spirit paintings and paint in coffee, and I read.
