Produktbeschreibung
In "Initiation, Human and Solar," Alice Bailey explores the profound spiritual journey of initiation as a pivotal element in human evolution. Blending esoteric philosophy with metaphysical insights, Bailey employs a clear and accessible literary style, making complex concepts relatable to the reader. The book is set against the backdrop of Theosophy and the broader New Age movement, contributing to the discourse around human potential and spiritual awakening. It delves into the stages of initiation, presenting a vision of how individuals can transcend their limitations and align with cosmic principles. Alice Bailey, a prominent figure in the early 20th-century spiritual landscape, was deeply influenced by her experiences with Theosophical teachings and her roles as a writer and spiritual teacher. Her extensive work with esoteric subjects shaped her perspective, leading to the development of the Arcane School, which aimed to facilitate soul growth and service. Bailey's synthesized views reflect her conviction that initiation is not only a personal experience but also a collective destiny for humanity. "Initiation, Human and Solar" is a must-read for those seeking a deeper understanding of spiritual development and the transformative power of initiation. It is ideal for spiritual seekers, students of Theosophy, or anyone interested in the metaphysical undercurrents that shape our reality, offering both clarity and inspiration along the path to enlightenment.

Autorenporträt
Alice Bailey (1880-1949) was a writer of more than twenty-four books on theosophical subjects, and was one of the first writers to use the term New Age. Bailey was born in England, but she moved to the United States in 1907, where she spent most of her life as a writer and teacher. Bailey's works, written between 1919 and 1949, describe a wide-ranging system of esoteric thought covering such topics as how spirituality relates to the Solar System, meditation, healing, spiritual psychology, the destiny of nations, and prescriptions for society in general. She described the majority of her work as having been telepathically dictated to her by a Master of Wisdom, initially referred to only as "the Tibetan" or by the initials "D.K.", later identified as Djwal Khul.
