John Weinman is Professor of Psychology as Applied to Medicine at the United Medical Schools of Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals in the University of London. Mary A. Jansen is currently Deputy Associate Administrator for Prevention at the Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental health Administration.
