Autorenporträt
Antonio Miravete de Marco es catedrático de Mecánica en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales de la Universidad de Zaragoza. Autor de numerosos libros especializados en la ingeniería de transportes y en la tecnología de materiales, de 1993 a 1995 fue Presidente de la Asociación Española de Materiales Compuestos. En la actualidad es científico invitado en el Massachusetss Institute of Technology, MIT.
