Earth has joined The Rebellion, a collective of alien races fighting together against the Hive. The Rebellion has agreed to protect Earth in exchange for soldiers and brides. The aliens had two common problems, the Hive and the shortage of females. Earth had too many and was willing to sacrifice them for safety and supplies. A draft was created of all unmarried females, once selected you could chose solider or bride. Samantha volunteered for the bride program, she knew the draft was a joke. The higher ups chose the poor and unwanted to draft it was not by chance. She did not know who or how many she was matched to, they promised the test would match her with a perfect mate or mates who had also been tested. For Samantha, the unknown was better then the hell Earth had become. It was a chance at a happily ever after and who didnt want that she thought.

Autorenporträt

Tara Birkla was born in Kentucky on a military base. She grew up in a large family of 11 brothers and sisters. After college she moved around a lot for work from Maine, Alaska, Tennessee, Alabama and many more. Growing up she was diagnosed with a reading disorder, at first books were a nightmare. However as she learned and got older books became her favorite escape. She is now following her dream of writing hoping to help others escape if even for a few hours.
