This text is intended to introduce students to the fundamentals of principles in Decision Science so that they can make connections between their everyday decision experience and the principle of the theory. This text uses non-technical terms so that the beginner may have a clear grasp of the foundational principles and can use those to transition into advanced studies. The mathematics that is used to describe the quantitative models is laid out in simple terms so that a student who is not strong in numerical subjects will be able to use it as review while learning the principles.
