Autorenporträt
Arup K. SenGupta is a P.C. Rossin Professor of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Department of Chemical Engineering at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He earned his PhD in environmental engineering from the University of Houston, Texas. He served as editor of the Reactive and Functional Polymers journal for a decade. His research encompasses multiple areas of separation and environmental processes including ion exchange. He has received numerous awards and holds 10 United States patents (eight awarded and two pending), mostly in the area of ion exchange science and technology. In recognition of his research inventions and their impact on both the developed and the developing world, he has been inducted as a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
