This book aims to sociologically unmask the Catholic Church's label of gender as an ideology that poses the greatest threat to humanity's survival and the foundation of the family as alleged by the recent papal writings and media pronouncements. It argues that there is no scientific and convincing proof that gender and gender diversity as understood in sociology and feminism constitute grave dangers to the existence of humanity, the foundation of the family, and children's welfare in society. It contends that the Catholic Church's alleged threats of gender to society are largely moral panics rather than real and empirical. Gender, as understood by feminists and sociologists, only poses serious threats to the age-long natural law moral framework of the Catholic Church that only upholds heterosexuality as well as heterosexual marriage and parenthood. This book recommends the incorporation of the sociological concept of gender and gender diversity into the Church's moral teachings to dispel moral panics on gender and fully welcome the gender-diverse Catholics in the Church.
