Is There Not a Cause? is not a book for the casual reader. It is instead a book to be read by the individual who truly has the desire to know and understand how God has preserved His precious Word throughout the course of time. Whether you were blessed to grow up in a home where it was never questioned that the Authorized or King James Bible was the preserved Words of God, whether you grew up in a home or went to a church where any Bible was considered the preserved Words of God, or whether you are a new Christian confused by all the different "Bibles" available today, if you truly want to…mehr
Is There Not a Cause? is not a book for the casual reader. It is instead a book to be read by the individual who truly has the desire to know and understand how God has preserved His precious Word throughout the course of time. Whether you were blessed to grow up in a home where it was never questioned that the Authorized or King James Bible was the preserved Words of God, whether you grew up in a home or went to a church where any Bible was considered the preserved Words of God, or whether you are a new Christian confused by all the different "Bibles" available today, if you truly want to know how God preserved His Words, then this book is for you. This is a book that has been years in the making. Dr. Andrew Steers is an obvious student of the Bible, and he has spent years in the preparation and study needed to qualify him to write this book. This is a book that is desperately needed in this era and should be read and studied by every Christian, but especially by those planning to serve God in full-time service.

Autorenporträt
Born in Tasmania, Australia, Andrew Steers accepted Christ as a young boy during a church summer camp. Eventually, he earned a bachelor of arts at The University of Tasmania, followed by a master's degree in urban and regional planning at The University of Sydney. Less than six years later, he turned his back on his planning career to prepare to work in Christian service after graduating with a master's in Christian education at Hyles-Anderson College, in Indiana in 1998. This initially took him to work as a principal of a Bible college ministry in Queensland, Australia before eventually helping to start a similar ministry through a church in New Zealand, followed by overseeing and teaching at a Bible institute at a church in Sydney, Australia. He was ordained into the ministry in early 2003 soon after his marriage to Laura. Since late 2012, he has served at Coastline Baptist Church in Devonport, Tasmania while also completing a PhD in theology by 2014.
