An 18 year old young girl and amateur sleuth plans a trip to visit a girlfriend in Europe where she used to live. During her visit, two men suggest that she visit her sister, who is part of a University sponsored archeological expedition in Egypt currently in the process of uncovering an ancient tomb in the Valley of the Kings.

After she arrives at the site where her sister is working she gets caught in the middle of a quest for a solid gold ancient Egyptian medallion expected to unlock the mystery of an ancient pyramid, and thieves trafficking in priceless antiquities who are trying to steal it.

Extensive research was conducted for this book, including a great amount of time spent in both Cairo and in the Valley of the Kings, near Luxor, Egypt. The research brought the author into many of the known tombs, such as Seti I, Ramses II, and Tutankhamen. All of the descriptions in this book are factual however some detail has been changed to add drama.
