The Islamic economic system does not operate in isolation from the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, as the Muslim extracts the general rules that govern economic behavior through the verses and hadiths of the Prophet through which he finds economic guidance for the advancement of the individual and society. The Islamic economic system is considered one of the most successful economic systems because it enjoys and is linked to certain controls that achieve rights and balance in all economic fields and suit all groups and all areas of the economy. It also aims to satisfy the needs of the individual under the framework of Islamic values ¿¿and ethics, thus achieving a balance between the person and society. The Islamic economic system is characterized by several features, including that it distinguishes between ends and means, and that it is a mixed system, in which all forms of ownership, public and private, coexist at the same time, that is, together. It also emphasizes the social function of private property.
