Autorenporträt

Alberto Di Giovanni was born in Roccamorice, in the Region of Abruzzo, on June 22, 1945. He attended the classical lyceum in Chieti until 1963, when he left Italy to join his family in Canada. He attended the University of Toronto, St. Michael's College, graduating with an Honours B.A. in Political Science and Languages, in 1971, and subsequently earned a Master's Degree in Italian Language and Literature, in 1973. (Alberto Di Giovanni è nato a Roccamorice (Pescara) il 22 Giugno 1945 e ha compiuto gli studi ginnasiali e liceali a Chieti. Nel 1963 ha lasciato l'Italia per raggiungere i suoi familiari in Canada, dove si è laureato presso l'Università di Toronto in scienze politiche e lingue e ha poi conseguito il master in lingua e letteratura italiana.)
