Yvonne Green, born 1957 in London to amulti-lingual Asian family, practised law, and then published her firstcollection, Boukhara, winner of the2007 Poetry Business Book & Pamphlet Competition. Her second, The Assay, was also published in Ivritby Am Oved as Hanisoo-yi, having wonfunds for translation from Celia Atkin and Lady Gavron. Her third, After Semyon Izrailevich Lipkin, was theWinter 2011 Poetry Book Society's Translation Choice. Her fourth, Honoured, was Winter 2015 Poetry BookSociety Recommendation.
