Genie Chow is an artist who specializes in painting fantasy art, landscapes, portraits and still lifes in watercolor. Some of her works include a mixed media approach with pen, ink, acrylic, gouache and colored pencil to develop and highlight the watercolor. She loves the fluid movements of watercolor with all its surprises, vivid or pastel colors and buildable layers. It's wonderful to portray happiness, moody feelings, and inspiring light. She also likes to write and read poetry as well as writing her children's stories. Genie Chow has written, illustrated, and published four children's books, Thunder Elk and the Fairy Children, The June Baby, Sweet Dreams, Baby, and Jason & Joella's China Trip, all available through Xlibris at www.xlibris.com/bookstore.
