Dahmer was found legally sane enough to stand trial, although he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, schizotypal disorder, and psychotic disorder. Dahmer was sentenced to serve his time at Columbia Correctional Institute, where he was beaten to death by another inmate by the name of Christopher Scarver on November 28th, 1944.
