The rule of the former extended from 927 BC until 721 BC. The Assyrians rose. By destroying the Kingdom of Israel in the eighth century BC and taking its inhabitants captive, "the first captivity," and the second kingdom was destroyed in the year 587 BC. The sixth century BC, at the hands of "Nebuchadnezzar," who destroyed the Temple of Solomon and the city of Jerusalem, and expelled the city's inhabitants from it, achieving what was called (the second captivity), where he took them to Babylon as captives, after slaughtering their leader and killing his sons. Thus, the era of Jewish sovereignty over Jerusalem and Palestine ended after only 300 years. This book is for a book group that presents historical testimonies about Jerusalem in history, the so-called settlement civilization, and the future of the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.
