David retired from the corporate IT sales world at the end of 2018, spanning a thirty-two-year career. And God blessed him in all his life roles during this time. David also spent time in his early work years as a machinist in a steel mill and as a trained musician at Carnegie Mellon University.
Today, as with David's vocations of his past, God is now leading him - this time to write. Although not a pastor nor formally trained at a Bible college, David is a disciple of Jesus, with 52 years and counting of faith. A faith he would say not of his merit, but one of Christ's holding him each day.
So within these pages are David's love of Jesus in his lifetime of study notes. From his notes on teaching Bible studies to share the Gospel at work, neighborhood, or in the grocery store. And of his passion for the Gospel to reach all who will believe!
This revision completes the connection between his first three books: "The Sovereignty of God in Our Daily Lives, Revised Edition," and "At Heaven's Door."
So the first three books happen to fit as a trilogy. The first book deals with Jesus' actions in our daily lives. The next book - this book, details the signs of His second coming and the end of this age. And the third book is about living life eternally with Jesus.
And in-between writing "At Heaven's Door" and "Jesus' Olivet Directive," David wrote "Born Again: A Bible Handbook Presenting God's Gift of Grace Given through Faith" - a prequel to "The Sovereignty of God In Our Daily Lives," to the day you first believed in Jesus. Now that God is calling David's grandchildren to faith, David writes to help them understand the Bible and how they believe through faith when they said, 'I accepted Jesus into my heart.'
Today, along with studying, writing, and teaching, David is still involved with the local car cruises to meet new people. He is doing life together with the people God brings before him - to the praise of the glory of God's grace, sharing the Good News of Jesus through relationships.
