Chris Kersting is a retired Presbyterian pastor who lives with his wife of 50 years, Beckie, in Yuba City, CA. They have three married sons (and three wonderful daughters-in-law) and are blessed with nine grandchildren. In his ministry of over 50 years, Chris loved to tell stories to children, sometimes using puppets. Other books he has written are "The Shepherds Went with Haste", "The Wise Men Went with Haste", and "Melvin and His Amazing Magical Box." Illustrator Bio: Beverly Cameron-Fildes is a retired Language and Speech Pathologist. She lives with her husband Gary and their rescue kitty "Weasel" in the small foothill community of Loma Rica, California. They have a blended family of three married adult children and six grandchildren, four of whom they share with the Kerstings. Beverly has always loved drawing and painting, and in retirement she pursued her passion when she was given the opportunity. Beverly was honored to be asked to illustrate this new "Haste" adventure and enjoyed the growth challenge that it offered.
