One day, while browsing through the local newspaper, Elizabeth stumbled upon an advertisement that caught her eye. It was a simple yet intriguing offer: "Seeking a well-educated woman to join a gentleman in the Western frontier. Must be willing to embrace adventure and new beginnings."

Intrigued by the prospect of a fresh start and the opportunity to pursue her thirst for knowledge in new surroundings, Elizabeth decided to pen a letter in response to the advertisement. With trembling hands and a fluttering heart, she poured her thoughts onto paper, sharing her dreams, aspirations, and the yearning in her soul for something more than what city life had to offer.

I was born in England, but have lived in Southern California for many years. I m now retired and live in the Pacific NW in a little seaside city amongst the giant redwoods and wonderful harbor, almost at the Oregon border. My husband and I have one cat, called Midnight and she is featured in two of my latest Sci-Fi short stories. I love Science Fiction, animals, and trying to help others.
