After a Horticulture Symposium at Las Cruces, New Mexico, Sara tells Ben that she has offered her friend Julie a ride home to Tucson. They were going that way since he was taking Sara on a honeymoon to see the barrel cactus in Arizona.

Julie, a wealthy ranch owner and college professor, likes Joe and decides she would like to join his family. Although Joe finds her attractive, he tells her his other wives would never consent to him marrying her.

Julie invites Joe and Sara to her ranch for a few days. Joe wants to get back on the honeymoon, but Sara accepts. After they get to the ranch, Julie invites Joe's other three wives and his six children to the ranch for a vacation.

Everyone loves the ranch. Julie says they could all move to her ranch if she marries Joe. She has a couple of houses so would have plenty of room for the entire family.

His wives and kids love being on the ranch and enjoyed spending time with Julie.

So Joe has a decision to make. Will he marry her and get a large ranch or will he stick with the wives he already has?
