Every penny of author royalties will go to the work of War Child in supporting the most marginalised and vulnerable children and young people in conflict-affected parts of the world.
The collection started life as a short story "conversation" between two of the writers: e-mailing stories back and forth. This was then extended in the summer of 2014 when an appeal to other writers was put out on blogs and social media. The result is a remarkably coherent collection.
