Autorenporträt
Jon Kester was born in 1979 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. He attended Winona State University, in Winona, Minnesota, and then the University of Wisconsin for his masters degree. He is currently working on his doctorate in education at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin. During the late 1990s to present, he has dedicated most his life to strength and fitness, both competing on the national level as a bodybuilder and strongman. However, once his daughter was born in 2011, his focus shifted to becoming a great dad and a role model for other parents. Along with his daughter, Kambria, he also has two sons, Jaxson and Jagger.

In 2013, Kester wrote My Daddy Wears a Tutu, a wonderful story about a little girl who loved to follow her daddy around, doing unexpected activities. Through his children's books, he hopes not only to entertain but also spread the message that parents need to be directly involved in all aspects of their children's lives, as well as including their children in some of their favorite activities.

Kester currently lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he enjoys spending time cheering on the Packers and training for bodybuilding competitions. He plans on continuing to write more children's books in the near future.
