As the entertainment reporter for Rapport newspaper, Gavin Prins broke the stories about two sex scandals that occurred at American TV mogul Oprah Winfrey's exclusive girls' school in South Africa. Prins also presented two entertainment shows, Glitterati and Tonge los, on the Afrikaans kykNET channel. He was the iKusasa Journalist of the Year for 2012. Prins resigned from Rapport after 14 years and is currently the deputy editor at Heat magazine.
