Where your mind goes - down the rabbit hole of anxiety, defeat, "overwhelmedness" or fixed, albeit sometimes by sheer grit, on the cross will ultimately determine how you fare on the other side of trials. Will you wallow in self-pity? Will you blame others? Will you despair and retreat inward? Will you manipulate to get your way? Will you put on a façade and fake your way through life? That is what Satan wants more than anything. He wants your focus off of God. Therefore, your answer, my answer to everything that he throws at us must always, unquestioningly be "BUT GOD." The first words out of your mouth when you are feeling like a failure, a fraud or a freak should be, "BUT GOD."
