The lives of Mephibosheth and his family become intertwined with the lives of the members of David's family. They get to know the wives and children of David. Bathsheba, Michal, and Maacah, Tamar, Amnon and Absalom. Conflict arises with the family of Ziba, the man who told David that Mephibosheth was still alive and living in Lodebar. The story has elements of romance, family dynamics, conflict, and faith in God. Animal lovers may enjoy this book as well.

Angel Ruth Kitts studied nursing and elementary education at Walters State Community College. She recently completed the Guideposts Writing Course. She has a children's book published called Buddy Goes Beachside. During her thirty year nursing career, she has also worked in the fields of labor and delivery, neonatal, and geriatrics. She lives with her husband Tim and their two dogs, in Rutledge, TN. She has one daughter, Lydia, and one grandson, Jett.
