Autorenporträt
God brought me through a number of major challenges over the years. Those challenges included grief over losing my first wife of twenty years to a heart attack. A few years later I went through a series of heart attacks too and very nearly died. More recently I received the news that I had third-stage esophageal cancer. Only by the grace of God am I alive today to tell about it. I believe God has given me much to share with others about trusting God through their own challenges life throws at them. The day I received the news from my doctor about the cancer, my wife and I hugged each other as the tears flowed. We renewed our wedding vows two months later. It was a time in our lives filled with emotions and dependence on God to get us through. We make our home in Oneonta, New York. I am blessed with my wonderful and loving wife, Sharon; two sons; two daughters; and seven grandchildren. I love God, family, country, preaching and writing.
