A small ray of hope breaks through the dark storm clouds as she is finally eighteen and is looking for a place to live on her own. She is hit by a car crossing the street and wakes up in the afterlife. This world isn't perfect and free from suffering. She learns that the afterlife is more complex than she ever could have imagined as she learns a war between two demi gods left this world in pieces. To survive this nightmare that is seeking to consume her must seek out the help from others and learn the dark secrets of the soul flames.
