Majid Mohammadi is an adjunct professor of Near Eastern studies at Binghamton University. He is the author of several books, including Heaven's Ladder: Analytic Philosophy of Religion, Political Reforms Quandary in Iran Today, Introduction to Sociology and Economics of Culture in Iran Today, Authoritarian Face: Iranian TV, 1990-2000, Civil Society: Iranian Style, Religion vs. Faith, and Sacred vs. Secular: Islamicization Process in Iran.
