Vowing to avenge her father's fate, she joins up with Dex who is hell-bent on getting the cargo back. Despite their opposite natures-she's open and outgoing; he's a socially awkward loner with a mysterious past-a subtle, unexpected intimacy begins to develop.
While the assassin closes in on them, Dex and Marci race to catch the culprits. And unbeknownst to everyone except Lancelot, something else is on the plane that he'll do anything to get, even if it means killing his own accomplices. (Novel is approximately 300 pages.)
