Produktbeschreibung
In a world fractured by privilege, Gloria's double life becomes a perilous mission. Driven by a fervent desire to combat injustice, she joins a daring group project. As Gloria and her friends uncover a startling truth, they embark on a bold experiment that disrupts the established social order. Chaos ensues, challenging deep-seated structures and inciting fierce resistance. Each day of the experiment ignites tangible change, but it comes at a significant personal cost to Gloria and her friends. 'Justice - forced to be good' is a gripping tale of courage, sacrifice, and the relentless pursuit of justice. In a society where comfort breeds complacency, will forced empathy lead to lasting change? Lorette Giacometti's novel explores morality, empathy, and the lengths we must go to bend the arc of the moral universe toward justice.

Autorenporträt
Lorette Giacometti, born in Switzerland in 1988. She studied law in Switzerland, Germany, and France and holds Master's degrees (LL.M.) in Philosophy of Law and International Dispute Settlement. She lives near Zurich with her husband and daughter. After 'Keiner zu klein, weise zu sein', 'Justice - forced to be good' is her second children's book. For years, the author carried this story in her heart, waiting for the right moment to bring it to life. The arrival of her daughter became that moment, inspiring her to finally put pen to paper. This book is lovingly dedicated to her daughter, who represents all children born into a world with the potential for greatness. It is written in the belief that the next generation will not only learn from the past but rise above it, shaping a better future. The author's hope and faith in them is boundless. More than just a story, this book serves as an invitation to meaningful conversations with children about social justice - ideas that may come even more naturally to them than to the adults reading alongside them.
