Kai Rivers, Staying Alive! is the first book of the Kai Rivers series and the first book Tamara Shaw has written. However, she is no stranger to writing and has been a professional television / film writer for nearly 20 years. Unlike other writers, Tamara is not tortured by the process. She loves writing, and finds it fun to watch how just an idea can be transformed into a world where characters take on a life of their own. She loves science, animals, creating and inspiring others to find their passion. In story telling, there are three ways to capture the reader or audience, with humor, love and fear.
