Autorenporträt

Maria McCloud can't get over the profound joy she feels being a grandmother. Having raised two daughters while balancing careers in film production and later, commercial real estate, she was delighted to discover her inspiration to write after spending time with her curious grandson, Kash, and rediscovering the "magic" of childhood, and life, through his antics and obsession of hats. Maria lives in Pasadena, California with her husband of 26 years, Billy, aka "Dear." When they are not traveling the world embracing new grown-up adventures, she is enjoying (and writing about) simpler ones nurturing their growing family. This is her debut picture book.
