The book develops as a choral novel, the vicissitudes of the protagonists intertwine on the background of the technical and political progress of the world in which they move. Characters and setting develop side by side, influencing each other, creating an unspecified time, politics and the global economy is dominated by rival corporations, in particular the Atlantis Corporation which rises to the headlines presenting a revolutionary invention: Katalepsis. A portable device capable of communicating their emotions, sensations and thoughts to others. An object capable of nullifying every problem of incommunicability, any misunderstanding, capable of bringing human beings closer, a revolutionary discovery that pushes humanity towards a new era. The Atlantis Corporation, however, has to deal with violent competition and international intrigue born just after the release on the trade of this invention, towards a shocking and unexpected final.

Fabio "JTP" Corrirossi is a writer and screenwriter. His main activity is in the field of web-cinema which, among the various works, has seen him as the creator of the web-series The Reborner, winner of the international competition Art By Chance. in 2014. He continued his career as a comic writer with several short stories, and three series published at the end of 2014. Katalepsis is his first novel (2013)
