A former teacher and school librarian, Anola Pickett enjoys writing for young readers. She is also an experienced workshop and conference presenter. Pickett especially enjoys speaking to students about the art and craft of writing and how to bring a story alive for the reader. An avid reader, gardener and swimmer, Pickett lives in Kansas City with her husband. They both enjoy travel-especially to Singapore to visit their redheaded granddaughter and her happy little brother.
