Autorenporträt
Writing has been Doyle's livelihood. For over five years, she wrote sermons as she was pastor with The Salvation Army. Following her marriage to her husband, Ron, she began writing about the culture shock she experienced as a city woman moving to the farm. She and Ron have a son, Tim and two grand-dogs and grand-cat. Doyle was a copy-writer for a small rural radio station. In 1995 she returned to her original vocation as a pastor in The United Methodist Church. In her "spare time", Doyle wrote fiction and essays which often found its way into her sermons.
