Author, Maureen Sky, lives in Bernardston, MA with her husband, Ed and their male tiger cat, Grueby. Now retired, she spends her time writing, reading, painting with acrylics and watercolors, crafting, cooking/baking, gardening, and enjoying nature. Although her two published books are written for the young reader ages 9-12 ("Middle Age Fantasy"), Maureen also enjoys writing short stories and poems. Maureen's experiences with her granddaughter, Kennedy, helped inspire her to write and create this beautiful picture book for small children with the help of her dear friend and beautiful illustrator, Maricella Obando Moya.
