Autorenporträt
Dolores Vician is a retired schoolteacher. She earned a bachelor of science and a master's degree in education. After retiring, Dolores and her husband, Ed, spent a month in Australia. There they had many opportunities to observe and learn about the native animals, such as koala bears, wombats, kangaroos, emus, and Tasmanian devils. The result is this book, Kevin Koala Leaves Home. Dolores has previously written a children's book, Witch Wun, as well as a book which gave a chronology of her family's camping trip from Illinois up the Alaskan Highway to Anchorage, Alaska, and then to a remote Eskimo village, Bethel, where they spent an adventurous year. The title of that book is An Alaskan Adventure.
