Autorenporträt

Peter Benson was born in Vienna, Austria in 1956. His parents worked for the British Foreign Office, and by the age of sixteen he had lived in fourteen countries, visited twenty six and been introduced to two Queens, five Presidents and a Pope. Educated by private tutors until the age of eighteen, in 1974 he won a place to read History and Politics at the University of Edinburgh.
