King Georges Favorite Watch is a story about a family heirloom. King George, who was the ruler of Merci Valley, inherited everything from his father just as his dad did from his grandfather. Although he inherited numerous things, the most precious was a beautiful watch that he wore almost every day. George loved this watch so very much. As a young man George could not wait until the day he became king. He knew this beautiful heirloom would become his very own. Even as a young boy, his admiration for the watch was so great that he asked his father if he could wear it every day. His father would respond, No, I wouldnt want you to accidentally break it. One day while King George was wearing his favorite watch, out of nowhere, it stopped. He called for the best watchmaker in the kingdom to come to the castle with hopes of restoring it for him. Unluckily, the watchmaker ran into a problem. King George was very sad that it was he who ended his familys heirloom. The watch had been in his family for three generations, and he broke it. The queen tried everything in her power to cheer him up, but the king was still very sorrowful every time he thought about what hed done. So Queen Myra commenced her search to try and acquire the watchmaker who created this beautiful watch decades ago for King Georges great-grandfather.

Autorenporträt
Born VanDaisy Smith, Momma Daisy was born, raised, and currently resides in Texas. A proud parent of two: a son, Christopher, and a daughter, Ke'Andria. She's a loving nana of two beautiful granddaughters who make every day worthwhile. Momma Daisy is the youngest of six children, and her passion is to write to become the next Dr. Seuss. She started out writing and directing her original plays as a young lady at the church she was raised in. Smith attended her grandfather's church her entire life, but in 2003, he became ill and was hospitalized. One Sunday after a visit with him at the hospital, a poem came to her on her drive home. That was the point in time when writing poetry became her passion. The first poem she wrote was about her grandfather who passed away at the age of 100. Shortly after, she began writing. That same poem was added into his eulogy. In 2010, a dear friend of her son passed away from a brain tumor. She attended that service with him. She felt God gave her something as she sat in the church listening to the message. It started out as what she thought was a poem but ended up being the story you are reading today. In January 2012, while attending a cousin's home going, again she sat listening to God. If you have read King George's Favorite Watch, you now have the promise that God made to her that this book would be published. She has other stories that were written before King George's Favorite Watch, but this story has always been so very special. Momma Daisy loves her family and her friends tremendously. She hopes that everyone who takes the time to read this book will enjoy it and be blessed.
