I simply love how that word promise is defined. It is a declaration that one will do something specific. It is an indication of future success. God has given me His word that He will commit himself to specifically bless me, and He has given it to you as well.
If you and I are to live the lives God promised us according to Jeremiah 29:11, we must hold on to His Word. This requires patient action. Kingdom-building in this meantime is just thata state of actively waiting for Gods promises. God has given me specific instructions and opportunities for the meantime, just as He undoubtedly has given you. During this time, it is imperative that we attune our ears to His voice and heed His instructions.
