Bradley Harris is the Smithtown town historian, Joshua Ruff is director of collections and interpretation at the Long Island Museum, and Marianne Howard is the executive director of the Smithtown Historical Society. Together, they have selected over 180 vintage images from the archives of the Smithtown Historical Society, the Kings Park Heritage Museum, the Smithtown Public Library, and the collections of other local individuals and institutions.
