Autorenporträt
R.L. Wilson grew in Kenya, Africa, as the child of missionaries. Despite that heritage, Wilson admits, "Although by the time I went to college I had been a Christian for many years, I really had no idea what 'being a Christian' truly meant. I had no idea what 'doctrine' was, or why it was important. I could not have obeyed the instruction in 1 Peter to 'Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have' (1 Peter 3:15)." It is with that background in mind that this book was written. Our prayer is that you will learn more about your gracious God and Savior and that you will be compelled to spend time in God's Word and in prayer so that you will be willing and able to "give an answer" to anyone who asks you. R.L. Wilson has been on staff at Ankerberg Theological Research Institute since 1982.
