Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky - Russian writer, screenwriter and teacher, journalist, war correspondent, translator. He was nominated four times for the Nobel Prize in Literature (1965; 1966; 1967; 1968). In 1945-1963, Paustovsky wrote one of his main works - the autobiographical Tale of Life. Various parts of the book were published in magazine versions as they were written. "A Tale of Life" consists of six books: "Distant Years" (1946), "Restless Youth" (1954), "The Beginning of an Unknown Age" (1956), "A Time of Great Expectations" (1958), "Throw to the South" ( 1959-1960), The Book of Wanderings (1963).
