Andrey Dmitriev - writer, screenwriter, born in 1956 in Leningrad, graduated from the philological faculty of Moscow State University, Faculty of of VGIK scenario, and in 1983 made his debut story Stihl in the journal Novy Mir, has published a number of novels and short stories in magazines and Znamya Druzhba Narodov and the novella Turn the River was awarded the magazine Znamya (1995) as the product of claiming priority of artistry in the literature, Pushkin scholar Alfred Toepfer Foundation in 1995, the author and co-writer of films The Invisible Man, The Joys of middle age, Alice and Bookinist, Black Veil, Revizor and several short movies.
