This book is psychological fiction describing how childhood experiences impact relationships in the adult life. This story takes place in two different eras interspersed across time. Growing up, Americo and his friend confront bullying, poverty and sexual exploration. In later years, they reconnect after a long hiatus, where they face distinct challenges deriving from the aftermath of those psychological sequelae. In this particular time,their family, friends, and casual acquaintances suffer from their anxiety and harassment, taking everything to a breaking point.

Autorenporträt

CLIFF MAKSUSHIMAT was born in a quaint town in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. After completing high school, he immigrated to the United States of America and settled in the City of Los Angeles, California, where he received a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Health Promotion from California State Polythecnic University, Pomona. He subsequently continued his education at California State University Los Angeles, completing a Master of Science in Healthcare Management and graduated with Honors. However, the arts have always figured prominently in the author's life. During his early studies, he focused on the liberal arts, which supported forays into different artistic endeavors and culminated in his pursuit of acting, painting and writing professions. To date, Cliff is penning his fourth book. However, his opera Prima The Captive Shadow of Americo Prakak is the only literary work currently in publication.
